There is a new dubsmash video on the block which has become a viral sensation. Chandni Nair’s three and a half minute dubsmash video in which she dubs over actor Dileep’s voice as comic persona ‘Chaurbhujan’ from one of his old stage shows, has garnered over 15 lakh views in two days.

Although Chandni has been making dubsmash videos for a while, this is the first time one of her videos have gone viral, thanks to the brilliant dialogues in the original bite. It is her obsession with acting that led her to make videos on the video messaging application which allows users to choose an audio recording or sound bite from movies, shows, music or internet trends and record a video of themselves dubbing over the original content.

Chandni was born in Kerala but her family moved to Coimbatore when she was just three months old. A rare medical condition confines her to a wheel chair physically but Chandni knew that being physically challenged can never be a barrier to achieving life’s goals. Her spirited parents too thought there was nothing that Chandni could not do. She is good at singing and was the state winner in school singing competitions for four years. She also took part in a musical reality show on Vijay TV.

When Coimbatore did not give their daughter the facilities suitable for a differently abled person, Chandni’s family shifted to Bangalore. Now she is a student of B.Pharm and intends to get into research. She moves around in the foldable self-driven wheelchair like Sara from the movie Bangalore Days.

Like most strong-willed people, Chandini hates sympathy. She is a dreamer, a doer, and a living proof that if will and wit join hands, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals.
