Kochi: Reminiscing the super hit songs of last year, Muzik247, the prominent music label in the Malayalam film industry, has brought out Muzik247 Best Of Bests 2015 - a collection of the most popular Malayalam film songs released by the label.
2015 has been a remarkable year for Malayalam film music. It was the year when Oru Vadakkan Selfie's "Enne Thallendammaava" caught the imagination of youth like a frenzy.
Songs of Premam had become a rage even before the movie's release and "Malare" went on to become a viral phenomenon. Kunjiramayanam's "Salsa" trended on YouTube becoming the second most popular song on YouTube India's music section. Jamna Pyari's "Vasoottan" became an instant hit with that delectable Thrissur dialect. Kohinoor's "Hemanthamen" gifted us with 80s nostalgia. And more recently, songs of 'Charlie' collected 1 lakh views in just 24 hours of their release!
Commenting on the music releases of past year by the label, Mr. Syed Zameer, Head Of Operations, Muzik247 said, "Being the most prominent music label in the Malayalam film industry, we are always striving to focus on premium and quality content. 2015 was a milestone year for the Malayalam film music industry, and we are happy to see that Muzik247 was associated with majority of the popular songs. This year again, we are keen to move a step further, and are looking forward to making a significant impact in the industry."
