Parvathy has come a long, long way from the singularly unattractive Pooja Krishnan in Notebook to the glamorous and attractive star she is today. Bold and outspoken, her Bollywood entry has been quite eventful with the charismatic Irrfan Khan pairing up with Parvathy in her debut Hindi movie Qarib Qarib Singlle.

Though not exactly a runaway hit, the film garnered a lot of positive reviews with Parvathy’s nuanced emoting coming in for a lot of praise. Chatting up scribes recently as part of the film’s promos, the actor reveals her food fetishes.

She’d any day plump for homemade sambar and rice. She enjoys rounding up the rice into perfect balls with her bare hands and popping them into her mouth, very, very countrified in style.

She was all for sharing her fitness mantra as well.

Love your body, however unattractive it is, says the beauty in all intensity. Each individual has his or her own fitness styles and it’s up to people to find out what suits them most. This is her advice to young girls who struggle to keep themselves fit.

Don’t be carried away by what people say. Listen to yourself and avoid advice beyond a certain point, she says.
