Seesan to lead Kerala in Santosh Trophy

Kochi: Midfielder Seesan S will lead Kerala in the Santosh Trophy National Football Championships. Goalkeeper Midhun has been named his deputy in the 20-member squad.

Defending champions Kerala are coached by former international V P Shaji. The South Zone qualifiers will be held in Neyveli in Tamil Nadu from February 3 to 8.

Six-time champions Kerala open their campaign against Telangana on February 4 (Monday). They meet Puducherry on February six and clash with Services in their final match a couple of days later.
