Jamaican sprint great Usian Bolt has announced that he will play football at Old Trafford. Bolt, who had been teasing the fans with hints that he will make a big announcement, tweeted that he will be part of Soccer Aid, opposite English singer and actor Robbie Williams, in a charity match at Old Trafford on June 10 (Sunday).
The friendly match will he held just four days before the FIFA World Cup kicks off in Russia.
Bolt will captain the World XI with Williams at the helm of the England XI.
“It is my dream to make it as a professional footballer, so to be able to step out onto the pitch at Old Trafford in June, and play against some of football’s biggest legends is going to be remarkable,” Bolt said.
