Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi is a crowd favorite and one of the most popular cricketers. The all-rounder, who retired from international cricket last year, proved that he is still in prime shape by pulling off a spectacular catch in the Pakistan Super League Friday night.
Afridi cut short Quetta Gladiators' Umar Amin's stint on 31. The Karachi Kings fielder plucked off a stunning catch at the long on boundary. Afridi leapt and stuck his right hand up to grab the ball with one hand and tossed it up in the air. He then returned to the playing field and completed the catch.
Afridi's athleticism and the sensational piece of fielding had the Twitterati in a frenzy.
Karachi, defending a score of 149, won the match by 19 runs.
