Kochi: The Kerala police team, probing the actress attack case, has taken one more person into custody from a flat in Kakkanad. The detainee is believed to be one of the gang that harassed the actress in a moving car in Kochi Friday night.
Reports said that the flat belongs to a young actor-director in the Malayalam film industry. If the detainee has any links to the attack case, the police can arrest the flat's owner. However, the police have refused to divulge more information on the detainee.
Putting more suspicion on Mollywood's links to the case, police have also found that a person from the film unit had leaked information about the actress' travel plans to the goons.
It was alleged that the main suspect Pulsar Suni had supplied abusive substances to film locations and that he had close links with many in the industry.
Four people from the production unit of the film the actress was working in are reportedly under the police scanner.
The actress was harassed inside a car for two hours allegedly by Pulsar Suni and his accomplices, who had forced their way into the vehicle and later escaped in a busy area in Kochi.
