Kochi: The police team probing the February 17 actress attack case will soon submit 760 documents in the trial court at Angamaly.

The police on Friday submitted an affidavit along with a list of documents before the First Class Judicial Magistrate's court.

The list includes results of some tests, recorded statements, CCTV footages, a memory card and pen drive.

Some documents, except a few crucial records, have been handed over to the defense counsel.

The court will on February 7 consider the plea submitted by Dileep and other accused seeking the documents again. All the accused have been asked to appear before the court that day.

The Angamaly Judicial Magistrate Court had asked the police to file the affidavit after actor Dileep, the eighth accused in the case, approached the court seeking a copy of the documents and evidence in the case.

The court will on February 5 consider a plea submitted by Dileep, seeking a copy of the visuals of the assault. However, the prosecution has objected to handing over the visuals to him, claiming that it would be used to defame the victim actress.

Dileep is accused of plotting the attack and commissioning the prime accused Sunil Kumar, aka, Pulsar Suni to commit the crime.
