Another cyclone could be following close on the heels of Ockhi, emerging from a low pressure churning near Port Blair in the Bay of Bengal.
An itinerant low-pressure area near Port Blair in the Andamans has set up base fully over South Andaman Sea and could develop into a cyclone soon, reports said.
The depression could swirl into stronger current in the next two days and start moving towards the Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh coast.
The low pressure is expected to bring rain to Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Thiruvananthapuram. Despite the prediction, the weatherman is yet to give a word on the intensity of the storm.
