Thiruvananthapuram: The new batch of 50 tourist information trainees passed out of the Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS) here recently.
They will be posted at various tourist information centres to guide tourists, especially during festival seasons. This part, their services would be available at airports and railway stations too.
Tourist information centers were started to help tourists access quality information about destinations in Kerala. These centers are wired and are digitally equipped to provide latest info to tourists.
The KITTS training lasted for one year and trainees will get a stipend of Rs 10,000 a month.
