Kannur: The Kerala police have taken into custody the main accused in the murder of Payyanur RSS worker, Biju. The accused was identified as DYFI Payyanur block treasurer K. Anoop.
The police had earlier arrested four people of the seven-member gang, who is suspected to have carried out the attack. The police have intensified their efforts to nab one of the accused, who is believed to have fled abroad.

RSS worker Choorakad Biju was hacked to death on May 12 allegedly by CPM activists at Payyanur town in Kannur district, which has witnessed a series of clashes between ruling CPM and RSS in the past one year.
