Are you a graduate? Clear Indian Navy's new entrance test to become an officer

The Indian Navy on Tuesday announced introducing the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), a computer-based examination, for selection of direct entry officers after graduation.

According to the Indian Navy official website (www.indiannavy.nic.in), the first entrance test will be conducted in September 2019 in various centers across the country. Here's everything you need to know about INET.

The test is directed particularly at graduate students who wish to join the Navy. The exam will be conducted along with UPSC conducted exams, Combined Defence Services exam and National Defence Academy and Naval Academy exam and the University Entry Scheme. While the written exam is conducted by the UPSC, the interviews are held by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

The INET will be conducted twice every year with its first exam this year in the month of September. Further details on eligibility and application process can be obtained on the website https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/
