All this makes reducing fat in the abdomen essential. However, this may not be possible by workouts alone. In addition, you need to get regular sleep as well as follow a suitable diet.

The daily food intake should include fluids that boost metabolism and they have to be consumed even before going to bed every night. These drinks would burn fat deposited in the body by increasing metabolic levels. Two drinks that help rein in the bulging belly are cucumber-lemon juice and ginger tea. Here is how they can be prepared.

Cucumber-lemon juice

Peel a cucumber and chop it into fine pieces. Crush a lemon and add its juice along with a handful of parsley leaves and half-a-cup of water to the cucumber. Transfer the entire ingredients to a juice mixer and beat it into a juice. More water can be added if needed.

Each of these ingredients helps burn or check accumulation of fat. For instance, cucumber has zero amount of fat and a minute level of calories. As it has plenty of fibres, the vegetable prevents constipation too. Meanwhile, parsley is a diuretic and rich in Vitamins A, B, C and K. On the other hand, lemon provides taste to the drink as well as boosts digestion.
