The most perfect time to practice yoga would be between 3 am and 8 am. In evening, practicing yoga between 5 pm and 8 pm would be good.

Can you practice yoga after consuming food?

You can practice yoga one and half hours after consuming lighter snacks like vada. However, it is better to do yoga at least 3 hours after your main meal. Practice yoga half an hour after consuming tea or coffee. However, 10 minutes would be fine if you have only had a glass of plain water.

How long can you practice yoga for?

Physical exercises like the various asanas and the surya namaskar can be practiced for 20 minutes or up to one and half hours.

Is it alright to do yoga when you are ill?

Practice yoga depending up on the nature of the illness, physical fitness and the age of the person. Seek medical advice before doing yoga when you are ill.

Do women have any restrictions while practicing yoga?

It is better for women to avoid practicing yoga during menstruation. Expectant mothers should do yoga only after seeking expert opinion from medical practitioners.
