It was five years ago that Johnson began building his house at Koovappady in Ernakulam, Kerala. However, the construction could not be completed then. Years later, Johnson had approached designer Linson Jolly requesting him to help him resume the construction of the house. The house, which was initially designed in 2900 sq ft got transformed into a charming abode in 3094 sq ft area after the refurbishment. Without knocking down any part of the old structure or adding too many extra features, the house was transformed into an elegant dwelling with all the modern facilities.

The elevation and the interiors feature the mesmerizing charm of the contemporary architecture style. All the pillars of the old structure were retained by just giving them a makeover. The vast and spacious interiors don the lighter shades of hues which makes the spaces look extremely pleasant. Partition elements or projections are not used here as design elements.
