Bubu had nurtured many dreams and ideas about the brand new house that he was planning to build at his hometown in Perinthalmanna. He instructed his architect Muhammed Muneer that his house shouldn’t feature any design gimmicks or ‘over the top’ luxuries. However, the family wanted their house to have all the modern facilities and spacious interiors as well. The rectangular plot is surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful nature. The structure has been designed leaving enough space in the front so that the beauty of the house could be highlighted. The elevation is in the semi contemporary style. Meanwhile, the classic combination of white and grey shades projects the stylish features of the house against the surrounding greenery.
The entrance door opens to the foyer space and the formal living space is arranged to the left side of this area. The designer couch in the living area can accommodate up to 8 persons. The wooden flooring and paneling add classy charm to the formal living area. There is a courtyard adjacent to the living space, with a pergola roof through which sun shine illuminates the interiors. The pergola is done using wood and toughened glass.
The family living area is arranged on the left side of the spacious hall. The stairway is right behind the family living space. The steps of the stairway are done in wood and the handrails feature the elegant combination of wood and glass. Door-cum-windows are installed here through which the beautiful sceneries outside could be enjoyed from the family living area.
The dining area, adjacent to the family living space, is also part of the spacious hall. It is the distinctive flooring which separates the living and the dining areas. The family living area is designed in double height which makes it look amazingly vast and spacious.
There are five bedrooms arranged in both the floors. There is an upper living area where the ceiling is decorated with wooden strips to match the paneling below. The design patterns on the ceilings and the head rests make the bedrooms extremely attractive and comfortable. All the bathrooms are attached with spacious bathrooms which feature high end fittings. Neutral shades of colours dominate the interior spaces which play vital role in making the spaces look vast.
The kitchen stands out for its serene look based on the white colour theme. Korean stone is paved on the counter top. All the shutters are built in glass. Meanwhile, glass with lamination is used on the back splash. A small breakfast counter completes the kitchen.
Stylish furniture, fashionable decor and design features which give prime importance to utility and comfort make the interior spaces, built in 4100 sq ft, look luxurious yet chic.
