Salam, a native of Manjeri in Kerala has been nurturing the dream to build a house of his own in his hometown, for quite sometime. He fulfilled his dream recently and his majestic 4500 sq ft luxury house stands regally in a 30 cents plot. The house is built by leaving lots of space in the front so that the splendid view of the house could be properly enjoyed.
Landscaping is done to make the front yard charmingly beautiful with lush greenery. Natural stones and grass are arranged alternatively on the front yard, enhancing the overall look of the house. Box shaped patterns, in different heights, make the exteriors stand out. Hundermax panels separate the features in the exterior walls.
An array of exclusive sights and design marvels await one in the interiors. Exquisite curios, beautiful wall papers and elegant curtain fittings make the interiors lively and stylish. Vitrified tiles in matte finish are paved on the floor. The interiors are mostly furnished using plywood and veneer finish.
The 3 – D wall paper in the living area is a scintillating feature which grabs the attention. A ten-seater dining table is arranged in the extremely spacious hall. The stairway is adjacent to this and the wall near it is highlighted with a pleasant shade of yellow. The TV unit is arranged below the stairway. The dining area is built in double height and this feature helps the spaces look vast and spacious.
The beautiful courtyard is the star of the interiors. The skylight on the double-heighted ceiling welcomes natural light which illuminates the whole area. Artificial grass is paved on the floor in the courtyard. Wooden decks too are arranged here to walk across the courtyard.
The five bedrooms are breathtakingly beautiful with elegant design features. The gypsum false ceiling with lighting in warm tones adds to the regal elegance of the rooms. The wooden strips on the headboard of a bedroom are a unique designer feature which stands out. Enough wardrobes are arranged in all the bedrooms which are bath attached.
The island kitchen has Korean stone paved on the counter top. The cupboards are done in plywood and glossy mica.
Salam proudly says that the guests are charmed by the extravagant and elegant interiors which offer a splendid display of unique sights and designs. The spotlights, switched on at night, make the house shine beautifully against the twilight.
