Star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot at a dreamy Lake Como setting in Italy last week putting to rest all the speculations and hide and seek.
After the twin marriage ceremonies, one in Konkani style and the other in a traditional Sindhi fashion, the B'town icons shared a couple of pictures where the resplendence was at display.
Every attribute of the Sabyasachi masterstroke the couple attired were close to cinematic brilliance. While some commented that Deepika's wedding apparel was inspired by her 'Padmaavat' costume, Ranveer exuded a prince-like charm in Sabyasachi Kurta and dhoti.
But what awed fashionistas the most was the engagement ring, a rectangle solitaire set in platinum, among the many embellishments Deepika adorned on her big day. The multi-stoned finger ring that Ranveer gifted to his lady-love stood out for its matchless brilliance.
The real shocker was the cost of the ornament. Believe it or not, the diamond ring cost somewhere between Rs 1.3 to 2.7 crore. The loving bridegroom Ranveer, on the other hand, chose a simple round golden band for himself.
