After recovering from the tragic accident that took away the lives of musician Balabhaskar and daughter Tejaswini, his widow Lakshmi is slowly coming to terms with their death.

While Malayalis are eager to know about the condition of Lakshmi, music director Ishaan Dev took time off to visit the bereaved wife of Balabhaskar.

Dev took to Facebook and posted a heart-rending note after meeting Lakshmi at her home. Beginning his post by saying that a brother's wife is more or less like a mother, Dev stated that in every step of Balabhaskar his wife Lakshmi was with him.

“Lakshmi has now made herself believe that Annan (Balabhaskar) has gone to a foreign country to perform for a programme. That's how she is coming to terms with his death,” wrote Dev.

“Whenever he left for long trips, he would ask his friends like us to take care of Lakshmi,” he added.

Dev also mentioned that Lakshmi is attended by her sister, mother and a nurse.

Lakshmi was discharged from the Ananthapuri Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, recently, where she was admitted to intensive care unit in critical condition following the accident on September 25. Last week, in her statement to police, Lakshmi had said that their driver Arjun was behind the wheel at the time of the accident.

The family of three, which included Balabhaskar, Lakshmi and their two-year-old daughter Tejaswini, were travelling from Thrissur to Thiruvananthapuram by road when their car crashed into a tree.
