Sujatha breaks down as she recalls late singer Radhika Thilak Sujatha broke down in tears, when she spoke about the special relationship that she shared with Radhika.

Veteran singer Sujatha Mohan turned emotional during the music-based reality show 'Super 4' which is aired on Mazhavil Manorama. The singer couldn’t hold back her tears when one of the contestants sung the song ‘Mayamanchalil’ sung by deceased singer Radhika Thilak.

It was contestant Sayanth who rendered the song beautifully on the stage of the reality show. The judges were really impressed by his performance and praised him. Sujatha began by thanking the contestant for choosing such an amazing song. She also congratulated ace composer and fellow judge Sharreth who had composed the song for the 1990 movie 'Ottayal Pattalam'. When she spoke about the special relationship that she shared with Radhika, Sujatha broke down in tears.

“This song was sung by my younger sister. Though she didn’t become a prolific playback singer in the movies as she wished, she was able to leave a mark of her own in all the songs she had sung. She admired me a lot and loved me as an elder sister. I especially miss her during the evenings. We used to talk over the phone from 6 pm to around 6.30 pm. We shared everything, from what happened in the music industry to our personal lives. My family still hasn’t recovered from the shock of her untimely death. I dedicate this song for my little sister,” said an emotional Sujatha.

Music composers Sharreth and Deepak Dev who are also judges in the reality show were seen trying to console Sujatha. The ace singer then apologised for spoiling everyone’s happy mood before moving on to giving her judgment about the contestant’s performance.
