The beautiful melodies from the upcoming movie Paathi composed by Ramesh Narayanan is wooing the music lovers and the two songs sung by his daughters Madhuvanthi and Madhusree are already making its way to the top of the list.

The sisters have rendered the melodies with sheer perfection. Madhuvanthy sang ‘mizhineeru peyyunna’ while Madhusree rendered the Hindi song ‘Teri duniya...’. The meaningful lines and the soulful tune exude an uncanny charm in these songs.

Madhusree and Madhuvanti are trained under their father Ramesh Narayanan and the sisters are very active in play back singing. They even conduct regular musical programs. They have performed at stages across the world along with their father.

Madhuvanthi who is a Hindustani singer performs with a masterly touch at concerts. She has even learned the nuances of Carnatic music before enrolling at Swathi Thirunnal Music College for her musical degree. The song ‘thira thira’ sung by Madhuvanthy in the movie Gappy had earned her many fans among the music lovers.

She even found love from the world of music and is married to Vishnu Vijay who won the Kerala state award for background score for the same movie.

Madhusree was just 16 years old when she won the state award for the best female playback singer making her the youngest winner in this category. The song ‘pashyathi dishi dishi’ composed by Ramesh Narayanan for the movie Idavapathy had won her the prestigious award in 2015. The news came as a double treat for this family of musicians as Ramesh Narayanan was selected as the best music director that year.

The names Madhuvanthi and Madhusree rings melodious and couldn’t be more unique and apt as Ramesh Narayanan didn’t have to think twice before giving the names of ragas for his daughters.
