Watch: Finally, Mohanlal dances to 'Jimikki Kammal'

The 'Jimikki Kammal' sensation doesn't seem to be fading away from the Malayalee minds soon. Each time you try to move on there is something new, and this time it is the veteran actor Mohanlal himself dancing to the viral song.

The song from the latest Mohanlal flick 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' has become a sensation on the Internet and is on top of the World Music Awards list for the second consecutive week.

Mohanlal on Sunday took to Facebook to share the video in which he is seen shaking a leg with young actors Shareth and Arun who danced in the original song.

The song was in the limelight when a twitteratti shared a video of a group of youngsters dancing to the song tagging US TV star Jimmy Kimmel. Asked if he had watched the song, pat came the reply and to everyone’s surprise, the comedian and writer, who has a huge number of fan followers, said he just loved the song.

The video of the teachers and students of the Indian School of Commerce (ISC), Kochi, dancing to the song had sent ripples through the social media and garnered over 1.14 million views. Later, the institute announced that the revenue that is expected to be generated from the YouTube video would be used for charity.

On Thiruvonam day, Pranav Mohanlal offered a treat to his fans by dancing to the hit song. Actors Anusree and Aditi Ravi also danced wearing shirt and 'mundu' along with Pranav.

Though the film hadn't fared well at the box office, the song has crossed borders.
