Actress Shruti Haasan shared a picture of the new 10-Year Challenge on Instagram recently. Many users are trolling her for likely undergoing plastic surgeries.

The 10 Year Challenge, the latest online fad, involves posting ones photos taken over the last decade. Participants have to release images since 2009 and one from 2019.

The Tamil actress has undergone a huge change in the past decade, the pictures prove. However, they suggest that she is missing only the bangs that she had 10 years ago. In her post she wrote, “ten years! I always miss my bangs but I deffo don't miss the ugly in between stage of growing them out! 2009-2019 #10yearchallenge.” (sic.)

The picture received a great response from Instagram and it got more than 4 lakh likes. Though many have appreciated her beauty, there were many who criticised the Tamil actress for undergoing a cosmetic surgery.

One Instagram user commented that she is “Full of Plastic”. Another have commented “What about the years before u got a nose job and lip fillers. How convenient for you to pick up a pic from post that period. Man, these vanity obsessed insecure-no-fun shallow people we call famous.” “You are the only actress whose look got enhanced post plastic surgery.” “Should have done before and after pic with how you looked before surgery,” (sic.) are some of the other comments on the post.

From Hollywood to Indian celebs, many have taken part in the ongoing online challenge.

Shruti's last movie was in 'Behen Hogi Teri' in Bollywood. Her last Tamil appearance was in 'Singam 3.'
