Mohanlal’s Odiyan too had become a hit there. Meanwhile, Lucifer’s global success and mass appeal has paved the way for a Malayali super star like Mohanlal to make major inroads into a massive movie market like China.

Forthcoming movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, produced by Aashirvad Cinemas on a mega budget of Rs 100 crore would be simultaneously released in China along with other foreign countries.
