The science fiction thriller ‘9’, starring Prithviraj is set to release on 7 February. The movie with its technological brilliance has caught the attention of the audience even before it has come out. Here is an opportunity for all to win an exciting prize by guessing the story of the movie. The competition is brought to you by Manorama online and Sony Pictures.

Guess the theme and write the story in not more than ten sentences and post it to the mail ID customersupport@mm.co.in under the subject line ‘Nine Himalayan contest’. The entry which is most similar to the actual story will be selected for the prize. The prize will be a movie special, Himalayan Salt Lamp.

The movie’s tagline is ‘beyond the world’ and it revolves around certain incidents that happens in 9 days. The movie has elements of horror, fiction and psychological thrill, claims the crew. VFX has a major role too.

The movie is produced by Prithviraj and Sony Pictures together and directed by Jenuse Muhammad, son of the ace director Kamal. This is his second movie after ‘100 days of love’ starring Dulquer Salmaan.

The child role in the movie is adorned by Master Alok. Female actors are Wamiqa Gabbi and Mamta Mohandas. Prakash Raj, Tony Luke are the other actors. The main location shot for the movie is Himachal Pradesh.

The screenplay is written by the director Jenuse himself. Cinematography is done by Abhinand Ramanujam. Music by Shan Rahman. The editor is Shameer Muhammed. Art direction is by Gokul Das. Background score is done Shekhar Menon and costumes by Sameera Saneesh.
