Why short film 'Happy together' impresses us

A still from the short film

It is said that the couple that fights the most is the one most in love and when fighting is no more, so do the caring. A short film titled 'Happy together' reflects this theme aptly.

Presented in the most realistic manner, the short film depicts a 'slice of life' of an urban Malayali couple working in the IT sector.

The film opens sedately as Anjali is upset over her husband's drinking habit and they have not spoken for last two days. Although the duo argue, how the couple patch up is pleasant to watch. The over 13-minute-long video will undoubtedly bring a smile for the little happiness it evokes.

Written, directed and edited by Anuradha Indira, the film stars Vineeth Viswam and Dini Satheeshan.

While the frames are beautifully captured by Hestin Jose, Neil Sebastian's background score gels well with the mood. Released by AVISIO Entertainments, the short film is garnering attention of netizens for its making style.
