Yes, it's confirmed! Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi will be seen as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his upcoming biopic. The makers announced about the movie on Friday.

Titled 'PM Narendra Modi', the film will be directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sandip Singh.

According to reports, the first-look poster of the film will be released on January 7. The movie will go on floors by late January.

Earlier, reports were rife that actor Paresh Rawal, who is also a Member of Parliament, has been roped in to play the lead in the biopic but seems he has quit the project.

With this project, Vivek Oberoi will return to Bollywood after two years. He was last seen in Tamil movie 'Vivegam' as villain. The actor will be making his Malayalam debut this year with Prithviraj's directorial debut 'Lucifer'.

Omung Kumar had directed the biopics 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarbjit'.
