Sonali Bendre pens an emotional note to ‘Rupa Tai’


Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre, who is just back to India after her cancer treatment in New York City, has been an inspiration to many. Her Instagram posts, right from the beginning talking about Cancer, fighting all odds, overcoming the bad phase, revealing her strength and weakness, every writings and photos of hers seemed right from the heart.

The 43-year-old is reportedly back to normal life and all credits for her family for being the support system.

And Sonali on her latest post talked about one such person -- her sister, Rupa.

Sharing an emotional note on the occasion of her sister’s birthday, Sonali said how Rupa has been her rock throgh this crisis. Rupa has been there with Sonali all the while as a dictator, when she had to eat right or take medicines or as a counsellor, switching roles of being a listener to leaving Sonali with her thoughts.

Sonali further talked about how sisters share a special bond. Before concluding, she mentioned that they have returned home and are back with their respective families and that she will always remain indebted to her ‘Rupa Tai’. ('Tai' means 'mother' in Marathi).

On return from US, Sonali arrived at the Mumbai airport on Monday holding husband Goldie Behl's hands all smiling. Behl had then told reporters that the disease can recur even though the treatment has ended.
