Priyanka-Nick wedding: towering cake, bridal veil invite memes

It is celebration time for Bollywood. After the recent Deepika Ranveer wedding, the talk of town right now is Priyanka Chopra’s wedding with American singer Nick Jonas.

From sangeet to double wedding ceremonies to star studded reception, PC-Nick wedding is grabbing headiness.

Tall cake

Interestingly, what has become a talking point is the wedding cake. Nick Jonas reportedly flew in chefs from Kuwait and Dubai to prepare an 18-foot wedding cake.

The cake had about six layers and the couple seemed to have cut it with a 'big' knife which seemed like a sword for netizens.

The 'train' veil

Like the 18-foot tall cake, Priyanka's 75-foot veil was also in news. Ever since the first official pictures surfaced online, internet has been flooded with memes about Priyanka’s train veil.

“Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day, but I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be,” Priyanka said in magazine’s cover story.

The auntyji

Surprisingly, when the sangeet pics were doing rounds on social media, a relative of Priyanka grabbed all attention. The amusing part is that the auntyji's image has gone viral for her facial expression.

While Priyanka and Nick looked stunning, a shocking reaction of the aunty made everyone talk about.

It may be recalled that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in accordance to Christian customs on December 1 and followed it up with a Hindu wedding on Sunday. Prior to that, the family held the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, also at Umaid Bhawan.

A wedding reception was held in New Delhi on Tuesday and was attended by PM Narendra Modi and their families.
