How to address Kareena, hubby Saif's daughter had a dilemma

After being married for 13 years, actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh parted ways in 2004 and after years of courtship, in 2012, the former tied the knot with Kareena Kapoor.

As Saif and daughter Sara recently appeared on Karan Johar's chat show, the former revealed that on the day he was getting married to Kareena, he wrote a note to Amrita wishing her all the best.

"I sent it to Kareena and I said, have a look at this. If it's okay, I'm thinking of sending it across and Kareena said, 'It's really nice,' he said. After I sent the note across to Amrita, I received a call from Sara saying, "I am coming to your wedding."

To this, Sara immediately replied, "I must tell you mom dressed me for my father's wedding."

“My father also never said ‘this is your second mother' or made it any way uncomfortable,” Sara said on the show.

Sara also revealed how she earlier had confusion about what to call Kareena. "I think Kareena would probably have a nervous breakdown if I was gonna call her, 'Choti Ma'. She would be like, 'No!' I used to be like, 'What should I call her? Kareena, Kareena aunty. My father's like 'You don't want to call her aunty. So you can call her 'K' or 'Kareena'' Sara said.

“I see my father and mother today and they are much happier than I think they would have been together. I have now two comfortable homes as opposed to one uncomfortable home,” she said.
