Manju Warrier has won many loyal hearts not with just her acting skills, but with her pleasing demeanour too.

JFW magazine recently announced its awards to renowned women personalities from the film industry and Manju too was one among them.

The magazine released a small video of Manju receiving the award on its YouTube page.

In the five-minutes long video, one can see Manju thanking the magazine for the award and then shaking a leg with Tamil star Simran.

In her speech, she said, “Awards are always an inspiration. Each time I get an award, I remember everyone who has contributed in my journey.”

Talking about her take on women empowerment, she said, “At this time, I want to think of those women who's security and dignity is being questioned in the country. Whenever a women's honour is wounded, it is a failure of progressive society.”

Dedicating her award to the anguished women, Manju promised to stand by them forever. She also dedicated the award to the undying spirit of Kerala which overcame the August floods.

With that, Manju received a big round of applause and the host in turn asked her if she can say two words in Tamil. Replying to it in Tamil, she said, “Not just two words, I was born in Tamil Nadu so I can talk, write and read Tamil.”
