Evergreen star Kunchacko Boban has been a heartthrob of every Malayali ever since Fazil cast him years ago in the super hit cult Aniyathipravu.

After his endearing boy-next-door roles, the actor has finally stepped onto mini screen arena.

The actor, who has enacted quite a few understated yet unconventional roles with finesse, will now be closer to the TV viewers mentoring aspiring artistes in the just-launched 'Nayika Nayakan' along with ace actress Samvrutha Sunil.

Talking about the show, Kunchacko quipped, “First thing that attracted me to the show is that I will not be the judge. I am not the right person to judge. I am a mentor who will more be like a friend to the participants.

Further he said, “This is the first time I am going to be part of a show throughout. It's indeed a great honour and am happy to be part of it. I consider myself a student and am here to learn many things. This platform will help to share ideas and tips.”
