This Mohanlal fan got her life's wish fulfilled, thanks to her daughter Sreethu said she kept the entire plan under wraps so that her mother wouldn’t know about it.

Superstar Mohanlal rules the hearts of millions of Malayali movie lovers around the world. The dream of any true Mohanlal fan would be to meet the screen idol in person.

The video of such a meeting is currently taking the social media by storm. Sreethu Thulasi, a young woman from Kochi, took it upon herself to make her mother’s dream come true. Sreethu had surprised her mother who is a great fan of Mohanlal by taking her to meet the actor at his residence. Mohanlal and his wife Suchitra, like the perfectly gracious hosts, received the mother-daughter duo with much happiness.

Sreethu had posted a video of this ‘surprise’ encounter between Mohanlal and her mother on her social media page. She said that her mother who was amazed beyond words, just started smiling and was, literally, at a loss for words.

She also revealed how it all happened.

“A few months ago while watching TV, my mother declared that she had only one more desire in her life. As I clearly knew where this discussion would head to, I prepared to tactfully leave the room. But to my utter shock, amma said that she wanted to meet Lalettan. I felt so happy that my mother has proven that she was even a greater fan of Lalettan than I am. I am proud of you amma; and thus began my discreet planning,” wrote Sreethu.

Sreethu wrote that she wanted to fulfill her mother’s desire to meet her favorite actor this year itself as a gift to the latter who would turn sixty soon. She added that veteran actor Sridevi’s unexpected demise had set her thinking about the uncertainties of life and was thus determined to arrange for her mother’s meeting with Mohanlal.

In her post, she even thanked her good friends Aarti Panikkar and Sajiv Soman for helping to make her mother’s dream come true.

Sreethu said she kept the entire plan under wraps so that her mother wouldn’t know about it. She says, “I asked her to accompany me to a business meeting. Even Lalettan told me not to tell amma about the meeting as he too wanted to make it special for her. Finally, we met him at his home. Such an experience! He is such a humble person and I wondered how he could be so down to earth. I could only gape at him when an extremely successful actor like him, who enjoys the adulation of millions of fans, spoke with such a humility and grace.”

Sreethu said she tried hard not to be over-excited as she wanted it to be a special day for her mother. She added that the actor was curious to know more about them. She said that Mohanlal was a perfect host and like a common man receiving his guest at home offered them tea as well. “I felt great respect for that family which raised him as a humble human being.

Even Suchitra chechi didn’t have the airs of a star wife and was so gracious to her guests. My amma, who out of shock went speechless, just kept smiling for 15 minutes. She could only say this much to Lalettan, “All of us really like you… a lot,” said Sreethu.

The youngster wrote that her mother was extremely happy to meet her screen idol and even thanked her for the surprise. “On our way back home, inside the car, she just couldn’t stop laughing. Finally, she hugged me and said, “only you would take so much effort to fulfill my dreams,” Sreethu concludes her Facebook post.
