Film exhibitors' union returns crown and scepter to Dileep. AMMA's turn next? Antony Perumbavoor and Dileep

A day after actor Dileep was granted bail, Film Exhibitors United Organization of Kerala (FEUOK) has elected Dileep as president once again.

A meeting of the organization held in Kochi on Wednesday afternoon officially announced Dileep as the president.

Earlier, when Dileep was arrested in connection with the actress attack case, he was expelled from the organization and was removed from the post of president and the charge was handed over to Antony Perumbavoor.

“I had taken charge as president of the organization only because Dileep could not discharge his duties from the jail. But now that he has come back, he will resume what he’s been doing and we will personally meet him to inform about this,” said Antony Perumbavoor.

Dileep, who has laid his hands on different areas of the film industry by owning theatres and distribution company, masterminded a rebellion in the Kerala Film Exhibitors’ Federation (KFEF) early this year to float FEUOK.

Now, all eyes are on AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes) as in all probability, they too may take Dileep back and ask him to continue the post of treasurer.
