VijayaraghavanKottayam: Popular Malayalam actor Vijayaraghavan became the latest victim of death hoax on social media. The news of his death flooded the internet Wednesday. However, the actor slammed the death rumors and said he is alive.
Police chief T.P. Senkumar warned of stern action against all those who spread the fake story on Facebook and WhatsApp.
Vijayaraghavan said a photo of his with the image of an ambulance circulating on the Internet is from the movie Ramaleela in which he is acting now.
He also requested his friends and fans to ignore the fake news. He himself had lodged the complaint with police.
