Impersonation: 2 students to take plus-two exams again

Mukkam: Two plus-two students of Neeleswaram Government Higher Secondary School, who were impersonated by a teacher during the plus-two examination, have submitted application for Save A Year (SAY) exam.

The results of three students were withheld after irregularities were found in their answer sheets. The teacher had changed four answers of the third student. The student agreed to higher secondary department investigation team’s suggestion to publish results without taking those answers into consideration. The results were published yesterday.

Answer sheets of the other two were replaced entirely by the teacher. The team told the students to take exams again. Their results will be published within 10 days. Higher Secondary Joint Director SS Vivekanandan submitted the departmental inquiry report on Wednesday.

A+ for Akhila

Akhila, the third student involved in the controversy, scored A+ in all subjects. Her results were published yesterday. One of the four answers rewritten by the teacher was wrong. None of these four were, however, considered for valuation.
