Mumbai: Budget carrier GoAir on Friday said it will operate 22 additional flights on new routes, along with increasing the frequencies by eight flights on existing routes, during the winter schedule effective from November 23.
The airline said with the new services, it would operate an average of 240 flights a day.
Under the new scheme, there will be two flights daily in the Kochi-Bengaluru route and three flights daily on the Kochi-Chennai route.
"GoAir will strengthen its market presence at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolktata, Lucknow, Nagpur and Patna with the addition of these new flights," the airline said in a statement.
According to the budget carrier, the induction of four new A320 NEOs will increase the airline's fleet strength to 31 aircraft.
"The induction of four new aircraft will cater to the enhanced seasonal demand whilst offering flexibility to customers with more flight options to choose from," said Jeh Wadia, managing director, GoAir.
The airline also announced anniversary fare offer starting from Rs 1,212 plus taxes on all new sectors in its domestic network.
"Booking period will be from November 18 to 21, 2017 for the travel period from November 24, 2017 to October 28, 2018," the statement said.
