Style, comfort, practicality and economy- Honda has combined all these in the Grazia, its latest scooter targeting the youth and the urbanite.

When the trend in India is to make the engine bigger, the Japanese automaker has taken the opposite route.

Honda has toned down the engine CC, but made up for that in style, ergonomics and fuel efficiency. Price has come down a bit as well, making the scooter a little more affordable to the pocket.

Styling: Looks modern in an urban landscape. Has a very Italian design. Strong masculine lines differentiate the Grazia from the rest in the scooter family. From a panther-inspired front to sporty split grab railings in the back, every inch oozes style.

Click for sure: The first scooter from the Honda stable after the Cliq has a single goal- expanding the company’s market share in scooters. The product line is refreshed regularly with new models and variants to boost sales.

The Grazia comes in three variants. The one above the basic has alloy wheels. Top-of-the-line Grazia DLX offers almost all the convenience and comforts that a scooter can afford, plus a dash of luxury.

Feature rich: The Grazia comes with an LED headlamp, disc brake in the front, alloy wheels finished in black, USB charger in the glove box and a meter console with a three-step eco speed indicator.

The 18-liter storage space under the seat is handy.

A digital instrument cluster, four-in-one lock with seat-releasing button, telescopic front suspension and combined brake system are some of the other key features.

Color options: Dual-tone color schemes and sharp lines are sure to attract attention. The Grazia is available in six metallic colors: Neo orange, pearl night-star black, pearl red, pearl amazing white, matte axis grey and matte marvel blue.

Engine: A four-stroke, air-cooled, 124.9-cc engine powers the Grazia. The tried-and-tested power plant- the Activa 125 and the Cliq also spot the same engine- offers a maximum of 8.52 BHP and 10.54 NM torque. Transmission is V-Matic automatic. Honda promises up to 50 kilometers for each liter of petrol. Maximum speed is 85 km per hour.

Ride quality: The refined and smooth engine accelerates quickly. Seat is very comfortable. Nobody could question the ergonomics. Top-class suspension ensures smooth ride on any roads. Even on a village road, the Grazia will not look out of place.

Affordable prize: Starts at Rs 61,563 ex-showroom. The scooter is available in top 35 cities in the first phase. Honda will offer the Grazia across the country by the end of the year.
