New Delhi: Indian cricket team head coach Anil Kumble is likely to be elevated to the post of the team director while India A and Under-19 team coach Rahul Dravid is all set to replace Kumble, according to a report in a leading national daily.
It is expected that the Test series against Australia will be Kumble's last assignment as head coach.

The BCCI Committee of Administrators (COA) met Kumble on the sidelines of the BCCI Awards in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The COA had a detailed discussion with Kumble and assistant coaches R. Sridhar and Sanjay Bangar. Kumble has been asked to prepare a comprehensive report covering the the national team, women's team as well as junior teams.
Kumble, who took over as the coach in June, was appointed for a one-year term. The former leg-spinner has had a fruitful partnership with Virat Kohli as India notched up Test series wins over the West Indies, New Zeland and England, which propelled them to the No. 1 ranking. The team also scored ODI series win over New Zealand and England.
