An asteroid called Florence passed very close to the Earth on September 1. It is the biggest one to have come that close to Earth in a 100 years.
UK's prince William and wife Kate expecting third child
Britain's prince William and his wife Kate are expecting a third child, their office said on Monday. "Their royal highnesses the duke and duchess of cambridge are very pleased to announce that the duchess of cambridge is expecting their third child," Kensington Palace said in a statement. Nirmala Sitharaman becomes new defense minister
Prime minister Narendra Modi appointed Nirmala Sitharaman as defense minister on Sunday as part of a cabinet reshuffle. Sitharaman, 58, who was promoted from being a junior trade minister, becomes the first female defense minister since Indira Gandhi was in charge of the department when she was prime minister 35 years ago.
