Floods in Gujarat :

IAF marks Highways for emergencies :

The Indian Air Force has named 12 National Highways across the country as emergency landing airstrips. During emergencies of any kind, these highways will be blocked off from public use, and used for rescue teams to reach nearby affected areas. 

World’s most silent car:

 The luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has launched what it claims to be the world’s most silent car called Phantom VIII. It is valued at approximately Rs 2.8 crore.

Candles and viruses

 The next time you think of blowing out candles on a birthday cake, think again! A new study claims the practice of blowing out candles increases bacteria on the cake’s icing by 14 times.
