Almost 2000 species of plants have been discovered in just the past year, a new report has said. Some of these can be sources of food, others for medicine, or timber. The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, in the UK, has made this assessment, and are now looking at studying, distributing, identifying and naming these new species.
