Kollam: The Kundara police have decided to conduct a lie-detector test on the mother of a 10-year-old girl, who was found dead at her house in January. A postmortem report had revealed that she was sexually abused.
The lie-detector test will also be conducted on her grandfather.

Then Walayar, now Kollam: 10-year-old girl found dead in house had 22 wounds
The police made the decision after discrepancies were found in their statements. The cops had earlier complained that they were not cooperating with the probe. Nine people, including the child's mother, are already in police custody.
The police is also investigating the role of the victim's father in the case. The man was reportedly arrested in 2015 for molesting his daughter, who committed suicide on January 15, and served prison sentence for nearly a month.
The girl was found hanging from the window frame of her house and a suicide note found next to the dead body had blamed family troubles for her extreme step. But the police officers are yet to confirm whether the suicide note was written by the child.
