#CycloneOckhi: Innocent donates four months' salary for relief operations

Kodungallur: Actor-turned-politician Innocent will donate his four months' salary as a member of Parliament for relief operations in the wake of the devastation triggered by Cyclone Ockhi.

He announced this during his visit to the relief camps in the Kaipamangalam constituency.

He said that the amount can be utilized for relief works in his constituency. He also visited people living along the coast in Kaipamangalam.

To solve the drinking water shortage in the relief camps, 12,000 bottles of water were made available. He made immediate arrangements for the water when residents told him about the shortage.

Within one hour of Innocent leaving the place, water bottles reached the camps.

Clothes were also made available in the camps on the MP's directive. He also promised enough clothes, study materials for students and medicines for the disaster affected. Innocent vowed to speed up measures to rebuild roads and houses destroyed in the sea attack. He said he would approach the state and central governments for necessary support.
