What Pinarayi read out in assembly

• The CM said that investigation will be carried out against those named in the commission report under relevant sections of the CrPC and IPC.

• The commission also found out that the police officers in the SIT appointed by the UDF government, were involved in sabotaging the investigation.

• The cops involved in the investigation, from the senior most officers to lower rungs down the line, were acting in connivance with the guilty, the report said.

• The CM also announced the formation of a new investigation team headed by senior office Rajesh Devan

• The letter submitted by Saritha S Nair on 19-7-2013, has to be subject to a thorough investigation.

• The allegation of seeking sexual favors as a return for out-of- the-way and illegal permissions will also be investigated, the CM read out in the special session of the assembly.

• The report also said that it will have to be investigated as to how the parties involved in the case used Saritha to garner illegitimate favors.
