Scribes were waiting for a 'scoop,' but look who turned up at Aluva sub jail The TN native, Seekh Muhammed, looked a lot like former president Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Kochi: Post the February 17 actress attack case, Aluva is the favorite hunting ground of mediapersons.

You will find a horde of journalists crowding around outside the infamous Aluva police club or the Aluva sub jail, that houses the high-profile accused actor Dileep, looking for a sensational update in the case.

But the scribes were in for a bigger shock Saturday, when they spotted an elderly man with a unique hairstyle that had become synonymous with the people's president. The TN native, Seekh Muhammed, looked a lot like former president Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and quickly invited the attention of the scribes.

Seekh Muhammed had come to the jail to meet his relative who had been remanded in custody in connection with an accident case. Seekh said that he had been an ardent follower of Kalam and hence tried to emulate him in dressing and mannerisms.

The TN native said that he had once got the opportunity to meet his role model, who urged him to take his message to even the remote villages.

He gets a warm reception wherever he goes and the scene outside Aluva sub jail was no different as people vied to take selfies with him.
