Mannuthy: Hand-crafted micro sculptures made from pencil lead are on show at the Veterinary College Golden Jubilee auditorium. Nearly 60 works of micro art are on display.

The rare creations are from M. Manoj, who hails from Neyyattinkara and is a 4th-year student at the Pookode Veterinary College. Vinayaka idol, Qutab Minar, Indian map, Amar Jawan Jyoti, birds, and signs are among his main subjects. He has used different pencils like HB, 10B, and 2B.

Manoj works with a blade, creating each sculpture with meticulous precision. Manoj, an outstanding volleyball player who captains the college team, is also secretary of the SFI unit there.

The exhibition runs until 8 pm on Saturday. It was inaugurated by Veterinary College former professor Dr. N.V.Vijayan.
