Designer Lal Madathinkal had this in mind when the plan was drawn. Here’s a peek into the 4,300 sq ft magnificent structure Devadheyam in Pettah, near Thrippunithura.

Exterior

The elevation is totally in the Victorian style. This was what the owners wanted. The ivory colored walls make the structure all the more Victorian. Even the windows made of teak have been painted to give the style more credibility. The interiors, however, are in the modern-contemporary style.

The dining room comes from abroad. The beams on the ceiling have been given a teakwood texture and they give the room its look of sophistication. The terracotta artwork on one of the dining room walls is quite a quaint room décor.

Here too, the Italian marble floors are stylish, to say the least. The sofa sets are foreign elements. The TV unit sits on a wall embellished with stone cladding.
