From a distance, this house looks like a pretty damsel in white. The pure white theme of the house is in lovely contrast to the green landscape. It was designer Afzal that made this house a reality for businessman Salim and family.
The design followed is a fusion of modern and contemporary styles. The plot had to be levelled with extra mud and piling, before beginning the construction. The neat landscape done in a small area and the shiny granite stones used to pave the front yard are an attractive addition here. Green shrubs have been added on the sides. Since the owner is into the business of natural stones, one can see many stone works throughout the house.
The interiors also have a fusion style. The choice of furnishings imparts an element of spaciousness and continuity to the interiors. Shingles have been added to the roofing of the sit-out. The flooring is predominantly done using marble, whereas La Potra granite has been used for the sit out.
All the furniture inside the house has been custom-made to match the décor theme. The combination of Gypsum veneer and wood finish gives finishing touch to the false ceiling. Lighting is another highlight inside the house. All rooms have custom-themed lighting and cove lighting.
The formal living has been arranged to facilitate maximum privacy. The dining area is set in open style. The family living area has been added along with the kitchen. The dining space is comparatively quite less, but to give a spacious effect; double height roofing has been used. A glass sunlight opening on the pergola roof completes the overall look. There are marble tiles on both the side walls of this space.
The kitchen follows a minimalist style. There are a total of five bedrooms in the house, two on the ground floor and three on the top floor. Special mood lighting has been used in the bedrooms.
The compound wall design gives an element of continuity to the design theme of the house. It has a combination of white paint alternating with granite filling. There is a patio on the back side of the house.
Adjacent to this, a small vertical garden is done creatively. The car porch has been added to one side behind the house. Vinyl veneer finishing has been done on the elevation and for the windows. The white theme helps to highlight this portion.
This white beauty is sure to have you under her spell at the first glance itself!
