Round Table is going places
Ladies' Circle, the ladies wing of 'Round Table' club Kottayam organizes such exhibitions to raise fund for the charity programmes they undertake across Kottayam. Ladies' Circle spent Rs 10 lakh on charity last year, Neelima Pillai, the chairperson of Ladies Circle, said.
Increasing popularity of the exhibition has forced Ladies' Circle to make this edition a two-moduled one, said Neelima. Utsav attracted over four thousand people in the first module held in Kottayam. The second module of Utsav held at the Rotary Hall, Panampilly Nagar, in Kochi was also a success, said Neelima.

Kochi based designer brand 'Rouka' stood apart in the programme, presenting some of their exquisite series in casual wear. "We present two of our newest series here, The Rain Diaries and a fusion of ethnic Kerala wear with trendy designs," said Sreejith Jeevan, founder and key designer of Rouka.
"Rouka has always explored newer platforms through such exhibitions. It benefits the designers like us as well as a larger community the show is aimed at," he added. "It has been a great journey with Rouka. Starting it as a one-man-army, Rouka is going places. I feel good about the positive and interesting responses Rouka gets."
